Michael J. Quinn, CPA, serves as the Deputy Director of the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences. Mr. Quinn is responsible for the operational and financial functions of the CoE. Immediately prior to joining the CoE, he served as Chief Financial Officer of University Orthopaedic Services, Inc. for seven years. Yet Mr. Quinn is no stranger to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Quinn was the Hospital Controller and Practice Plan Administrator at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, one of the CoE’s partner institutions. Mr. Quinn has a solid background in finance and accounting, working as a Banking Officer before his tenure at Roswell Park.
