for Genetics and Pharmacology and the New York State Center of Excellence
in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences - on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

The New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences (CoE) was created in Buffalo, New York in 2002 as part of more than $200 million dollars in investment from state, federal, industry and philanthropic sources to create a hub of life sciences expertise and innovation in Upstate New York.
The CoE has a strong foundation in life sciences research and discovery to bring to its collaborative efforts with industry, government and researchers around the world to improve the health and well-being of the population. CoE research institutions have been around for more than 100 years with University at Buffalo (UB), as the lead academic organization, and two research partners, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute.

PARKING FOR JUNE 2 RIBBON-CUTTING FESTIVITIES
Parking is fairly limited, so we encourage you to carpool, or use the Metro Rail. The Allen/Hospital Metro Rail Station at Main and Allen streets is a short walk from the Center of Excellence.
ON-STREET PARKING: is available on both sides of Ellicott Street (between Goodell and High)
OFF-STREET PARKING: is available at the corner of Goodell and Michigan in the lot of St. John Baptist Church
FYI: The Roswell Park Cancer Institute ramp will NOT be available.
