Graduate students:We only accept students who are already enrolled at the University of Buffalo or Roswell Park Cancer Institute Graduate Division. Inquiries into admission at UB should be made through the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS). Students enrolled in the IGPBS, in Biological Sciences, or at RPCI are welcome to contact Dr. Halfon to discuss laboratory rotations and potential future positions in the laboratory. Students from non-biological science departments (e.g., Computer Science) will be considered only if they possess a strong undergraduate knowledge of biology. |

Postdoctoral Fellows:Individuals interested in a postdoctoral position should be highly motivated and capable of independent work and have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, or bioinformatics/computational biology. We will consider applicants interested in both wet-lab and computational research, or a combination of the two. Previous experience in our areas of research is desirable, as is eligibility for independent funding. |
