Insulin appears to suppress a particular group of inflammatory mediators known as toll-like receptors, or TLRs, which are critical to the inflammatory process. 09/13/06 - Business Facilities magazine recently ranked New York as the top biotech state in the country in its 2006 industry rankings report. The 2006 rankings reflect states’ greatest overall strengths and growth in the biotechnology industry. New York improved its ranking from second in 2005, taking the top spot from Illinois, which fell out of the top 10.
